Unline (“we,” “our,” or “us”) values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
a. Account Information
When you sign up to create an account, we collect:
Name
Email address
Username
Password
Your password is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use this information solely to create and manage your account and to provide access to app features.
b. Usage Information
We collect limited usage data necessary to provide core functionality, including:
Timer durations selected by the user
Time spent in offline mode (tallied based on the duration of offline sessions)
*We do not track screen time, browsing activity, or usage of other apps or services on your device.
c. Push Notifications
If you choose to opt in, we use push notifications only to:
Notify you when a timer has ended when using either of the following features:
Intentional Scrolling Sessions
Offline Mode
Send you scrolling trigger time reminders when you’re likely to scroll based on the time(s) of day you select during onboarding
You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.
2. Offline Mode & Device Features
Unline allows users to:
Enable an Offline Mode for a user-selected amount of time
Optionally use iOS Guided Access or Android App/Screen Pinning
These features are controlled entirely by you through your device’s operating system. We do not monitor, record, or access activity on your device while these features are enabled.
3. Payments
Payments are processed securely through:
Apple In-App Purchases,
Google Play Store In-App Purchases, and/or
Stripe
We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information, such as credit card numbers. All payment data is handled directly by these third-party providers in accordance with their own privacy policies.
4. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
Create and manage user accounts
Operate timers and Offline Mode features
Display offline time totals to users
Send push notifications (if enabled)
Maintain and improve app functionality and performance
Optional Email Communications
If you choose to opt in, we may send you optional emails such as promotional messages, product updates, tips, or announcements.
Opting in to these emails is not required to use the app. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email or by adjusting your account settings.
We do not sell or rent user data and do not use personal information for advertising purposes.
5. Data Retention
We retain account and usage data only for as long as necessary to provide the app’s services. If you delete your account, associated personal information will be deleted or anonymized, except where retention is required by law.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including secure storage of account credentials and limited access to user data.
7. Children’s Privacy
Unline is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Edit or delete your account information
Opt in or out of push notifications via device settings
Enable or disable Offline Mode at any time
Control Guided Access or App/Screen Pinning through your device
